Can I charm the Bear in "A Hunter's Pride" - Guild Wars Forums

I'm wondering if I can charm the Bear in A Hunter's Pride.

Also, if you have one of your heores charm a pet, is there a way to change it?

Thanks for the info. I tried a long time ago when first got heroes in Nightfall and for some reason the pet tamer could only take mine. I guess they fixed this. Thanks again.

according to wiki.gw, the bear isn't charmable...I haven't tested though.

However, the black bear in pre searing is still possible to charm, but it requires a little teamwork because the bear has a charm breaking skill. I'm not exactly sure how to do it, but I know it's possible.

fyi, the bear has a lower DPS than all the other pets, Brutal mauling slows it down. unless your a paragon, i think it still counts as an attack skill for chants.

Incorrect. You're thinking of the Black Bear. The Polar Bear doesn't have Brutal Mauling.
